Mr. Calvin L. Cherry, a native of Farmville, NC, has been with the Barnes Funeral Home for over 10 years. He served as a licensed Funeral Director and Mortician and currently holds the position as the manager. Mr. Cherry graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College and earned a degree in Funeral Service Education. He is also a preneed counselor and life insurance agent for the state of NC. Mr. Calvin Cherry is an active member of the Willow Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where he serves as the pastor.

Graduteate of Fayetteville Tech Community College in the Funeral Director's program. B.S degree in Music from Atlantic Christian College/Barton College. Master of Arts in Education from E.C.U. also have a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Phoenx. Was married to the late Rev. Dr. Charles Barnes (formerly owner) and have three children (a daughter-n-law). Three outstanding grandchildren.

Attended Barton College and received a B.S. Degree in Musical Production. He is the musician for all the choirs and male chrous. Charles is a faithful member at SJCC.

Cheresa attended East Carolina University and received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. She attended Wayne Community College and received her Dental Assistant degree. Cheresa is currently working on her MBA at Winston-Salem State University. She a minister of the gospel. She is a faithful member at KCC.
